Happy Place Festival: Talks, Manifestation, and Candid Conversations

The Libratum Team recently had the privilege of attending the Happy Place Festival, an event dedicated to promoting mental wellbeing, self-discovery, and happiness. Curated by BBC broadcaster and author Fearne Cotton, the festival offered a unique blend of insightful talks, interactive workshops, and a vibrant community atmosphere.

A Conversation with Fearne Cotton

We shared an intimate Q&A session with Fearne Cotton. With remarkable candour, she shared her personal journey with mental health, recounting the challenges she faced in her late 20s and early 30s while working at the BBC. Fearne spoke of the isolation she experienced due to the lack of support and open dialogue surrounding mental health at the time.

This pivotal period in her life ignited a passion to create a space where individuals could freely discuss their struggles and find solace in shared experiences. Happy Place Festival is a testament to her dedication to destigmatising mental health conversations and empowering others to seek happiness.

Fearne emphasised the importance of embracing the full spectrum of human emotions, acknowledging that highs and lows are a natural part of life's journey.
